Preschool Fundraising Ideas

Thanks for reading our post about preschool fundraising ideas. We want your input. Tell us what preschool fundraiser ideas you like the best and the one that gets the most votes we will then schedule as an event.

Furthermore, we are open to more suggestions. So feel free to send in your ideas and suggestions.

We need your support.

Here are some preschool fundraisers that we were thinking about

Which one do you like the best?

Teddy bear picnics.

This is something fun for for children and parents too. In fact, sometimes the parents have more fun than the kids do!!! Design some teddy bear invitations and include the date time and location.

Next, send the invitations out to all of the parents of the children at school.

Invite the children to bring a teddy bear with them! Or you can buy cheap teddy bears in bulk on Amazon.com and include the teddy bear in the price you charge for the event.

Hire a photographer to take fun photos dressing up the kids and bears.

Photography fundraisers.

Speaking of photography, reach out to a local photographer. Ask them if they would give you a commission on all the work they sell. Invite them to your preschool for a photo day. Next, send letters home with the students so that they will be dressed for the photo shoot day.

Furthermore, parents will choose the photos they like to buy and your school can earn a commission.

Why does this work? Because parents can’t resist cute pictures of their kids!

Karaoke night

We would have it at a local restaurant that has a back room. Every time someone orders drinks, food, snacks or dessert the preschool would earn a percentage of sales.

We would have karaoke machine with plenty of music to choose from.

Art show auction

We can take the kids artwork and display it like an art gallery would. Moms and dads, grandma and grandpa can bid on the childrens artwork. The top bidder wins the artwork. We can also sell copies of the original for everyone else that didn’t win the auction.

Sell Cookie dough

Your kids love to eat cookies. So do all of us adults. We can have a cookie dough fundraiser. Each tub weighs 2 lbs and only runs $10. The school earns up to 50% profit on every sale. We would ask you parents to show the fundraising brochure to your friends, family and neighbors.

There are several cookie dough recipes to choose from including sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, snicker doodles and oatmeal too.

By the way, this has worked very well for other preschools.

Sell gourmet popcorn

This is also a popular treat we can sell to raise money for the pre school center. Here are some of the highlights.

  • Six gourmet popcorn flavors including Chicago style, chocolate drizzled, hokey pokey and caramel apple.
  • Retails for only $8 each so almost everyone can support the program.
  • The preschool earns up to $4 on every sale depending how much we can sell combined.
  • Moms and dads are asked to help out by showing the brochures to their family, friends, coworkers and neighbors.

What do you think?

Please let us know which fundraiser might be the most fun and raise the most money for the school.
